Smooth and sexy Alex "Hitch" Hitchens (Will Smith) is the master of seduction in this charming romantic comedy. His specialty? Having just weaned himself off antidepressants, the young man begins to see his life in a new light, which leads him to confront his psychologist father (Ian Holm) and forge a connection with a new friend (Natalie Portman). This whimsical comedy premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
5- 13 Going on 30 DVD
It's 1987, and geeky Jenna just wants to be popular. After her 13th birthday party goes awry, Jenna wishes she could just be 30 instead -- only to wake up and discover that she's flash-forwarded 17 years. Now a sexy, successful magazine editor, Jenna (Jennifer Garner) finds out that being an adult isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be. Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer and Andy Serkis co-star in this charming romantic comedy in the tradition of Big.
6- Love Actually DVD
An ensemble comedy that tells 10 separate (but intertwining) London love stories, leading to a big climax on Christmas Eve. One of the threads follows the brand-new, unmarried Prime Minister (Hugh Grant) of the United Kingdom, who, on his first day in 10 Downing Street, falls in love with the girl (Martine McCutcheon) who brings him his tea. Denise Richards, Alan Rickman, Keira Knightley and Rowan Atkinson co-star.
7- Under the Tuscan Sun DVD
In this movie loosely based on Frances Mayes's best-selling memoir of the same title, Diane Lane stars as Frances, a newly divorced American writer who heads for the Italian region of Tuscany to make limonita out of life's lemons. Having just quit her high-pressure job and ended her heartbreaking marriage, she buys a decrepit-but-charming house in Cortona on impulse, rebuilding it piece by piece -- and herself along with it.
